Check your quota

The GET /cota endpoint returns, for your account, how much of the plan you have already used this month and how much remains. Use it to track usage and avoid surprises with 429.

Method and path: GET /cota
Base URL: https://api.cnpjapi.com.br
Authentication: API key in the Authorization: Bearer header (see Authentication).
Does not spend quota: checking your usage does not count as a lookup.

Response fields

Field	Description
`competencia`	Reference month of the quota, in `YYYY-MM` format
`usado`	Lookups already made in the reference month
`limite`	Your plan's monthly quota (`0` = no limit)
`restante`	Lookups remaining this month (`null` = no limit)
`rpm`	Your plan's requests-per-minute limit

Exempt accounts (or with no limit on some axis) receive limite: 0 and restante: null - the signal for unlimited on that axis.

Errors

Status	Meaning
`401`	API key missing or invalid - the endpoint requires a key (there is no anonymous version)
`429`	Too many calls to `/cota` itself in a short time; respect the `Retry-After`
